MarketPlace
MarketPlace was one of our ill-fated Mac products. It was a CD-ROM of business information that could be used to generate mailing lists and other targetted marketing lists. Collecting, packaging and distributing this information was so controversial that privacy activists picketed Lotus headquarters demanding that the product be pulled off the market. In the end, the product was spun off and never launched by Lotus. That didn't stop us from making marketing give-aways like mousepads.
